Awake

One day I awoke
Poetry fell from my hands
In lines of graphite
In slow pools of ink
And now awake I dream
And in this fiction
I am real

Not Me, Not You

I am not me
I am a story
that you tell yourself
while you speak
to me
You are not you
You are a lie
that comforts
my aching
dreams
