moonlight

Lily of the moon

Lily of the moon
She blossoms through night
her petals unfold
'til dawn from twilight
And if perchance
you should see her in bloom
you might mistake her glow
for that of the moon

Winter

In slumber of winter
this world dreams
Crystalline
It shatters and scatters light
To dazzle those left awake
To share its dream
In moonlight unhindered
by clouds
Upon the frost it writes
Poetry
Upon the spirals of ice it sings
Of love though grown cold
Still beautiful
