Beauty such as this
evokes the most carnal
of spirits
desires beastial
but also draws out
the stolid knight
the dreamer
and the poet
beauty like this
inspires
body and soul

One day I awoke
Poetry fell from my hands
In lines of graphite
In slow pools of ink
And now awake I dream
And in this fiction
I am real
