Timid Love

I have forgotten
all the dagger words
and even the scars
have faded names.
The love remains
an uneasy creature
trembling at the sound
of gentle voices,
wondering at the claws
that lash out
to drive away
hands meant to sooth
and eyes meant to heal.

There is no embrace
only
because I push away.

Through Faded Pain

By wind harsh
and gentle lover's bites
our lips bleed
and heal, scarred
Each day new wounds
Each day new healing
And so we kiss
speak and make love
through faded pain

Oblivion

Oblivion kisses
my bleeding scars
and grants me rest
in empty arms
To let me dream
of simple things
While wrapped
in dark demonic wings
